I most likely purchased the wrong thing or had a misunderstanding of what they’re. Perhaps they’re great for cooking, but not for anything else. I ended up throwing most with the can away. I primarily got them to add to oatmeal. That was a dismal failure. They essentially disintegrated and turned the oatmeal blue. Not appetizing. I will admit that I did not try eating them as is. I did attempt adding a bit water hoping to get some thing comparable to fresh blueberries. I am guessing that this was not realistic. These chips taste delicious, but if you are going to eat a great deal of them (and you’ll, once you open the bag), I would recommend buying them in the 1 lb bags from Amazon rather, a lot better deal. The flavor is crunchy and I adore to eat them as a substitute for normal chips. The only problem is that they are pretty little. I have bought a bunch of bags and there has by no means been 1 single full apple chip, they are just pieces. Nonetheless, you cannot beat the flavor.

I’m not a large fruit eater unless its fresh picked and in season. I also won’t buy anyt type of fruit that has added sugar. I tried these and fell in adore with them. They’re tasty and retain the sweet tartness of a fresh mango. Accurate, they do not have the texture of dried apricots or apples but this is their natural texture and they’re not treated with sulfur or other additives/preservatives. I keep a number of bags of these and the dried cherries on hand for snacking. I’ve fairly a sweet tooth and these help maintain me from reaching for other processed treats. And I’m obtaining some of my daily fruit and veggies.

Overall a great dried fruit for snacking. The 12 pack if two.6 oz bags are much fresher than buying exactly the same item in bulk. The bag contains 1/2 inch to 1 inch squares of dried mango and lots of crumbs. The fruit has a nice flavor, but a extremely dry texture, similar to dried bananas. It is not a moist dried fruit, like dried apricots.

I had heard about the high antioxidant level of goji berries and tried Navitas brand because it comes directly from the farmers and is certified organic. Amazon’s price is competetive. I enjoy the taste and texture straight from the bag. The berries are not too sweet. I did not find them too dry because they soften and become chewey, not tough. I have never tasted the fresh berry. I will buy more of these dried berries for a satisfying snack option.

This is the first time I purchased Goji Berries after reading all of the health benefits they have. The Navitas Naturals Brand through Amazon was the lowest priced I found on the web. I really like the fact that there are no additives at all. They don’t taste like any berry I’ve eaten. They are surprisingly moist and sometimes slightly sweet and other times a bit bitter (if you pop a handful into your mouth.) I found a small amount does satisfy your hunger quite well I eat them by themselves for lunch. They are really good mixed with chocolate chips, thrown in a salad even baked in cookies. I would certainly buy them again.

Interesting product. Overly hyped, high priced red raisins! This brand is comparable to others. I doubt that they’re grown in the Himalayas. Goji is also grown in California. I didn’t think that this food is especially “super”.
